Operation Sindoor Proves India’s Military Might and Resolve: Anurag Thakur

Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, May 12, 2025 — Former Union Minister and sitting MP from Hamirpur, Anurag Singh Thakur, lauded the Indian Army’s successful ‘Operation Sindoor’, calling it a “decisive message to Pakistan” and a testament to India’s strength under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Thakur emphasized that after the recent brutal killing of innocent civilians by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists in Pahalgam, India responded with unmatched precision. “Operation Sindoor has shown that India, under PM Modi, knows how to protect its sovereignty and unity, giving a befitting reply to every anti-India move,” he said.
He revealed that Indian forces entered 500 km into Pakistan’s territory, destroying nine high-value terror training camps in PoK and killing over 100 terrorists along with 35–40 Pakistani soldiers. “This action was surgical, sparing civilians while wiping out terror infrastructure,” Thakur noted.
He credited PM Modi for directly leading the strategic operation—from military planning to leveraging the Indus Water Treaty—ensuring India’s response was effective and proportionate. “India has proven it can strike with precision anywhere, anytime,” he concluded.
