Only professional skilled education unscrambles the financial crisis and unemployment, says experts in APG varsity webinar

The world community is facing the daunting of financial crisis and employment in the present mayhem of Covid-19 pandemic. Millions of people lost their jobs and industry sectors also facing the challenge of this pandemic and lockdown imposed. But a better skilled professional education can be a panacea to tackle financial crisis and unemployment if it is geared towards the right direction. Dean Prof.Dr. Neel Kumar Singh from the department of management and commerce of APG Shimla University conducted a one day webinar on the theme impact of pandemic on jobs and how global qualification is key to success under a lecture-series here on Monday. Key speakers Vikas Khosla and Nikhil Sharma from from International Skill Development, United Kingdom (ISDC, UK), attended in the webinar. Prof. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan, the Vice-chancellor of APG Shimla varsity inaugurated the program and thanked the key speakers to perk up the professional skills in the students. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan said that professional education and skill based education is only a way to rend out the financial crisis and unemployment in the world and revive the lost jobs due to pandemic surges being faced by the world population. Key speaker Vikas Khosla addressed the students that we are living in a dire straits of financial crisis and too much unemployment as this is caused by Covid-19 pandemic across the world but we world human community can overcome this crisis if people and youths have skill based education, pure professionalism, global qualification and industry connection. Another key speaker Nikhil Sharma also shared his notions with the APG varsity students, in his address, he said that students can access skill based education and professional education towards right direction if they are informed properly and counselled in a proper way. The connect programs are very scrupulous and crucial for invoking the students to achieve greater goals and skill based education and professional career and repeal unemployment subsequently, Nikhil Sharma added. Sharma said that such programs can also be conducted in India, which are available to the youths including the students of Himachal Pradesh. Dean Prof. Dr. Neel Kumar Singh told that B.Com.( Honrs.) in International Accounting and Finance Global Qualification ( IAFGQ) has been roped in commerce stream of the varsity from this year to generate the professional skills inside the students to crack good jobs and concoct them to create new jobs as well. “Only professionally skilled education is a Samaritan remedy to respite from financial crisis and unemployment in this melancholy of Covid-19 pandemic across the world”, said Prof. Dr. Neel Kumar Singh, the dean management and commerce department of APG Shimla University, while addressing the students.
During the webinar, dean academics Prof. Dr. Kuldeep Kumar, registrar Dr. Anil Kumar Pal, Dr. Chairperson Kamal Kashyap, professors, assistant professors, chairpersons of different departments and executive officers of APG varsity were present.
