Nukkad Natak Competition on Safe Construction Practices Held at Gaiety Theatre

The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Shimla, organized a Nukkad Natak competition on safe construction practices today at the historic Gaiety Theatre, as part of the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, Samarth 2024. Eleven schools from Shimla city participated in the event.

The competition featured teams from various schools, including Govt Model Senior Secondary School Lalpani, Govt Model (Girls) Senior Secondary School Portmore, PM Shri Govt Senior Secondary School Tutikandi, Govt Senior Secondary School Sanjauli, and many others. The first place was awarded to PM Shri Govt Senior Secondary School Tutikandi, while Govt Model Senior Secondary School Lalpani and Govt Senior Secondary School Annadale secured the second and third positions, respectively.

The winning team from PM Shri Govt Senior Secondary School Tutikandi will perform at the state-level event on October 14 and be honored by the Chief Minister. Judge Jawahar Kaul emphasized the importance of safe construction practices and the valuable lessons learned through the performances.
