Shimla, July 05 – As per the published media reports related to online auction of APG Shimla, Univeristy, for recovering their outstanding loan by the bankers, Prof. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan VC of the university has clarified that the matter is related to the Trust and Bankers. “The University is a separate Entity and will face no impact whatsoever as to the process between Bankers and The Trust”, he added further.
Chauhan also informed that the A P Goyal Shimla University with its sprawling Campus and World Class Infrastructure has been developed with an Amount of Over Rs 200 Crores and out of that only Approx Rs 40 Crores is outstanding of the Bankers. As Such Trust is fully Cooperating with the Bank to settle all issues.
He has assured Students, Parents and Staff members that their interests are fully protected and they should not give greater heed to Media Reports about their future being at stake. University’s regular online Teaching Works, Practical and Examination schedules are already in place and going smoothly and apart from that once the State Government lifts Covid-19 restrictions, the University Academics will start its Academics as usual.
