Despite the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, night bus routes from Himachal Pradesh to Amritsar, Jammu, and Pathankot will remain suspended due to ongoing border tensions. Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has decided not to resume night services until the situation in Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir normalizes. Low passenger occupancy on these routes has also contributed to the decision. HRTC MD Nipunj Jindal stated that daytime services will continue based on local law and order conditions, and night routes will be reviewed before any resumption. Passengers are advised to stay updated and avoid night travel.
