Newly Appointed Vice-Chancellor of HPU Shimla calls on Governor

Prof. Mahavir Singh, the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, met the Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan, today. Accompanied by his wife, Prof. Mahavir Singh had his first formal meeting with the Governor after assuming the office of Vice-Chancellor of the University.
The Governor congratulated him on his appointment and remarked that while he has been an accomplished academician, the role now demands more responsibility and efficacy in administration. The Governor expressed confidence that the university, under his guidance would scale new heights and further enhance its reputation.
