New Eligibility Criteria for Centre Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent in Board Exams Announced

The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board has introduced new eligibility criteria for teachers to become Centre Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent during the upcoming board examinations. According to the Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh School Education Board, Dr. Major Vishal Sharma, teachers with up to five years of teaching experience in senior secondary schools can now qualify to become Centre Superintendent in board exams. Additionally, for high schools, teachers with ten years of TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) experience and fifteen years of PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) experience can apply for the position of Centre Superintendent.
Dr. Vishal Sharma further explained that teachers with three years of experience in senior secondary schools, five years of TGT experience, and ten years of PGT experience in high schools are eligible to become Deputy Superintendents. The application process for these positions is open until January 21, and interested teachers can apply online through the board’s official website.
The Secretary highlighted that these appointments are specifically for the annual examinations, compartment exams, additional subject exams, and category improvement exams scheduled for the academic session 2023-24. During these exams, Centre Superintendents and Deputy Superintendents will play crucial roles in maintaining the examination process’s integrity.
Dr. Vishal Sharma urged eligible teachers to submit their applications within the stipulated time frame. The online application link will be removed from the board’s website after the specified date, and applications received through other means will not be considered.
The new criteria aim to ensure that experienced and qualified teachers contribute to the smooth conduct of board exams, maintaining the standards and fairness of the examination process.
