Chintpurni in Una to Khatushyamji in Rajasthan

Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) is soon launching a bus service that will connect the famous religious sites of Chintpurni in Una, Himachal Pradesh, and Khatushyamji in Rajasthan. This bus service will be available for booking both offline and online, making it convenient for pilgrims. HRTC has received approval for the bus route from Una to Shimla.

The bus will commence its journey from Chintpurni and pass through Amb, Una, Haroli, Gondpur Jai Chand, Jhungi, Kheda, and Kalma Mod before reaching Chandigarh. From there, it will continue to Hisar, and eventually, it will reach Khatushyamji Temple in Sikar, Rajasthan.

This new route will cover a journey of over 1,500 kilometers, offering a more accessible and cost-effective travel option for devotees visiting Khatushyamji Temple. Currently, private buses operate on this route, charging pilgrims between INR 3,000 to 3,500. The fare for HRTC’s service will be determined once the approval is granted in Shimla.

The introduction of this bus service aims to facilitate pilgrims’ visits to these sacred destinations and provide a more organized and economical mode of transport. The process for launching the bus service from Chintpurni to Khatushyamji is in its final stages, with HRTC awaiting formal approval from Shimla after submitting the proposal through the Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Una.
