Negi Slams Govt Over Vimal Negi Case Bias

Shimla, July 24 – Former Forest Corporation Chairman and BJP candidate from Kinnaur, Surat Negi, has accused the Himachal Pradesh government of protecting officials allegedly involved in the suspicious death of Vimal Negi while harassing those demanding justice. He claimed that despite FIRs and serious allegations, the accused officers have been reinstated to key positions, while employees and associations who raised their voices are facing punitive action. He also questioned the government’s intent behind delaying the ACS report and failing to appoint a lawyer in the Supreme Court, which helped one of the accused secure anticipatory bail. Negi said the government is acting out of political vendetta, not justice.
