NEET 2023: 3862 students will give NEET in 10 Shimla centers, attendance will be taken through biometric
1 min readThe National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct NEET for admission to medical and dental courses on Sunday at test centers set up across the country and abroad. In Shimla, 3,862 students will take the exam in ten centers set up for students across the district. No one will be allowed to enter the examination center after 1.30 pm. Attendance will be done through biometric. Candidates will get admission in the examination only according to the rules decided by NTA.
In this, only the admit card downloaded from the website and one pass port size photo and identity card will be allowed. Every candidate will be thoroughly checked in the examination center. Entry will be given only with the prescribed dress code. On Saturday, City Coordinator Vidu Priya Chakraborty convened a meeting of Principal Center Superintendents of schools made examination centers at St. Thomas School to review the preparations for the examination and issue necessary guidelines.
Principals of St. Thomas Shimla, St. Edward, DAV Lakkad Bazar, DAV New Shimla, Saraswati Paradise Sanjauli, Loreto Convent Tarahal, Convent of Jesus and Mary Navbahar, Chapsley Bharari, Dayanand Public School and Sacred Heart School Dhalli attended the meeting. The exam will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM. The candidate will have to enter inside by 1:30 pm in any case.
