Nauni varsity staff pay tribute to University Registrar

Condolence meet organised at the university

The students, staff and faculty of Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni paid tributes to Shri Sandeep Negi, University Registrar who passed away yesterday at PGI Chandigarh due to prolonged illness. A condolence meeting was organised in the university campus on Thursday which was attended by the students and all the staff of the university. In his condolence message University Vice Chancellor Prof Rajeshwar Singh Chandel remembered Shri Negi and his efficient and prompt work etiquette.  The staff prayed to the Almighty to give peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss. Several staff and faculty members including Vice Chancellor and university statutory officers attended his last rites at Chandigarh on Wednesday. Shri Negi was a 2016 batch Indian Administrative Services Officer and was serving as the registrar of the university since January 2022.
