Natural Farming – Boom For Producers & Consumers

Dr. Chandel shares that the shift from chemical-based produce to natural ones will not only give a push to the economical aspect for the producers but at the same time give consumers a sense of authentication.
Considering the wellbeing of the masses Himachal government is providing training to the farmers to adopt natural farming under #Prakritik Kheti Kushal Kisan Yojna of #Subhash #Palekar #Natural #Farming (#SPNF).
#SPNF has given farmers freedom from the market for any kind of resource to produce their crop informs, Prof. Rajeshwar Singh Chandel to #Himachaltonite.
“According to the data shared by the State Project Implementing Unit (SPIU), PK3Y, as many as 1,33,056 farmers are partially or fully practising natural farming in Himachal Pradesh on 7,609 hectares. They include 12,000 apple orchardists. There are a total of 9.61 lakh farmers in Himachal Pradesh. considering the number of people adopting SPNF in-state shows that people are receptive to the idea and concept expressed Dr. Chandel.
