National Environment Youth Parliament organised

Shoolini University organised the National Environment Youth Parliament 2022 through the virtual mode on the prevailing environmental issues posing a serious threat to the safety and welfare of human beings.
The National Environment Youth Parliament 2022 – “Nurturing Environment Leaders” is being organised by Paryavaran Sanrakshan Gatividhi (PSG) on an all-India level to sensitise the youth about the issue.
The event was inaugurated by Chancellor of the University, Prof. Prem Kumar Khosla. The chancellor in his welcome address focused on the importance of Sustainability Development Goals and the initiative taken by the university for the same.
Mr. Pradeep Sangwan, founder, Healing Himalayas who has done immense work in cleaning the Himalayan belt was the guest of honour for the event. Mr Vipin Pubby, Senior Journalist and Director, School of Journalism and Mass communication, Mr Abhishek Taneja – founder member, EarthJust and Ms. Prachi Sheogaonkar, founder- Cool the globe app were the judges for the event.
After an interesting and informative event, top 5 were chosen for the next round to represent the university. They were Abhishek Kumar Gupta – Faculty of Management Sciences , Agamroop Kaur and Ananya Manishi- Department of Biotechnology, Ankush Kumar – Faculty of Core Engineering and Mansha Goel – Faculty of Legal Sciences.

The event was coordinated by Dean Student Welfare Mrs Poonam Nanda.
