Nasha-Mukti Rally Held at JUIT
1 min readThe Nasha-Mukti Rally, organized by Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), took place on 28th September 2024 in Kandaghat with the purpose of educating the community about the perils of substance abuse and promoting a drug-free lifestyle. The event commenced at 3:00 PM from Hospital Mod and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 50 individuals, including NCC cadets, rank holders, ANO Lt. Praggya Gupta, and P.I. Jai Lal Thakur.
Participants fervently chanted impactful slogans like “नशे की राह छोड़ दो, जीवन में नया मोड़ दो” and “अपनी पहचान को सजाओ, नशे से खुद को बचाओ,” underscoring the critical message of leaving behind addiction for a healthier, brighter future. A Nukkad Natak (street play), performed by the Theatre and Music Club along with NCC members, further emphasized the significance of drug-free living and warned against the dangers of substance abuse.
The rally was designed to foster community unity in the ongoing battle against addiction and to raise support for rehabilitation efforts. By highlighting the social and personal impact of drugs, the event successfully spread the message of building a healthier, drug-free society.
