Naresh Chauhan Criticizes BJP Government Over Employee Welfare

Chauhan dismissed former CM Jairam Thakur’s statement on central aid, explaining that the ₹1500 crore was not a special package but part of the state’s share of taxes. He highlighted the current Congress government’s employee-friendly initiatives under CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, such as restoring the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and addressing outstanding issues like pending overtime payments for HRTC workers. He also noted that opposition leaders should appreciate, rather than oppose, these positive actions.
