Naib Tehsildar caught red handed taking bribe

Chamba, February 15 – Naib Tehsildar Purkhi of Chamba district Pramod Kumar was caught red-handed on Tuesday by State Vigilance and Anti-corruption Bureau while taking a bribe of Rs 8000 for registration of land mutation.
Complaint was lodged recently before SV&ACB Chamba that Naib Tehsildar Pramod Kumar posted at pukhri, Chamba is demanding bribe of Rs eight thousand for mutation of his land.
The complainant had approached him many times to get his work done but the accused was delaying the process for no reasons. Case is registered under various sections of Prevention of Corruption Act and further investigation is going on.
