Nahan: Free LPG Connections to Be Issued Under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana

Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur, Priyanka Verma, announced that eligible adult women from poor families in the district will be provided free LPG connections worth ₹2,050 under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Home inspection has been made mandatory to ensure that only genuine beneficiaries receive the benefit. Families without any existing LPG connection and meeting the prescribed income and landholding criteria can apply.
Applications can be submitted online through official portals or at the nearest Common Service Centre, help desk, or LPG distributor office along with required documents such as Aadhaar card, ration card, KYC form, bank details, and a self-declaration certificate.
