Miss India Runner up Shinam Azad calls on Chief Minister

UMD Miss India first Runner up Shinam Azad, hailing from village Chaithla in Kotkhai area of Shimla district called on Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu here today and shared her experiences about the contest.
The Chief Minister congratulated her for this remarkable feat, lauding it as a moment of pride for the State. He expressed best wishes for her future endeavours and emphasised that her achievements would serve as an inspiration for the youth of the State.
Shinam Azad apprised him that she was crowned this title on 10th November this year at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium New Delhi. Apart from her accomplishments in the beauty pageant, she was also a young entrepreneur with ventures in travel and Real Estate sectors. She is also a designer and make-up artist. She credited her success to the support of her father Dharampal Azad, mother Meera Azad and brother Ritesh Azad.
Her uncle R.L. Bekta also accompanied her during the meeting with the Chief Minister.
