Mini Secretariat in Barsar to Bring Multiple Government Services Under One Roof

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to Inaugurate Modern Complex on Friday

Barsar, October 23 — A long-standing demand of the Barsar region is finally being fulfilled as Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is set to inaugurate a modern and grand Mini Secretariat building this Friday. The new complex is expected to become a milestone in the region’s administrative and developmental progress.

The Mini Secretariat will house the offices of the SDM and several other government departments, all under one roof — offering greater convenience to the public. With multiple offices located in one place, residents will no longer have to travel from one location to another for official work, making government services more accessible and efficient.

For decades, the people of Barsar had been demanding a central administrative complex to ensure that essential public services could be provided in a coordinated manner. The inauguration of this modern facility marks the realization of that vision under Chief Minister Sukhu’s leadership.

SDM Barsar Rajendra Gautam informed that all preparations for the inauguration ceremony and the Chief Minister’s public meeting have been completed.
