Mimansa – Children's Literature Festival 2025 to be held from April 18-20 at Gaiety Theatre

Shimla, Mar 17: The Language and Culture Department of the Himachal Pradesh Government, in collaboration with Keekli Charitable Trust, is set to host the third edition of the “Mimansa – Children’s Literature Festival” from April 18 to 20, 2025, at the Gaiety Theatre, Shimla.

Renowned author Devdutt Pattanaik, artist Priya Kurian, and actor Sohaila Kapur will be the key speakers at the event. While Priya Kurian will inaugurate the festival, Devdutt Pattanaik will grace the closing session, and Sohaila Kapur will join as the Guest of Honour.

This three-day festival aims to foster a love for reading and creative writing among children and young adults. It will feature book readings, interactive workshops, storytelling sessions, art workshops, and engaging panel discussions. Notable authors like Jyotsna Atri, Kishan Sriman, Preeti Sharma Aseem, Harini Srinivasan, and Manoj Kumar Shiv will also participate in various sessions.

The event will also witness an exclusive audio-visual presentation by Sohaila Kapur on the life and works of the Anand brothers – Dev, Chetan, and Vijay.
