Mera Yuva Bharat Launches 2-Year National Youth Volunteer Internship, Apply by Oct 5

Dharamshala, September 27, 2025 — Dy. Director of Mera Yuva Bharat, Dhruv Dogra, announced the recruitment for the National Youth Volunteers (NYV) two-year internship program under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The initiative aims to engage young people in nation-building and empower them as responsible citizens, contributing toward India’s vision of “Developed India 2047.”
Selected volunteers will lead and participate in community activities including health awareness, literacy drives, sanitation, gender equality, social harmony, disaster management, administrative assistance, and government programs across various blocks of Kangra district.
Eligibility criteria include a minimum educational qualification of Class 10 pass and age between 18 to 29 years (as of April 1, 2025). Volunteers will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000 for a maximum period of two years. Regular students are not eligible to apply. The last date to apply is October 5, 2025. It is clarified that this is neither a salaried nor a contractual position, and it does not guarantee any future government employment.
