Medicinal Plant Plantation Drive at APG Shimla University
1 min readShimla, August 24, 2024 – Under the joint aegis of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization, Shimla, and APG Shimla University, a medicinal plant plantation drive was organized on Saturday at the university campus. During the event, 109 medicinal plants, including Neem, Amla, Giloy, Tulsi, and others, were planted by Sai devotees, students, faculty, and staff. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and the preparation of Ayurvedic medicines at home.
Professor Dr. Lakhanpal encouraged everyone to protect and nurture these plants, highlighting their importance in combating global warming and maintaining ecological balance. The drive was part of the “Prem Taru” campaign initiated by the Sri Sathya Sai Organization to promote environmental sustainability and human welfare.
