In an effort to promote better coordination between local media and the government, the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Shimla, in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Chandigarh, is organizing a media workshop for media professionals in Shimla. The Chief Guest for this event will be Aditya Negi, Deputy Commissioner of Shimla.
The primary objective of this workshop is to facilitate effective communication of government initiatives and schemes through local media. Rajinder Choudhary, Director-General of the Northern Region at the Press Information Bureau, will chair the event.
During the discussions, achievements in various sectors within the government’s nine-year tenure will be highlighted. Special emphasis will be placed on education and healthcare initiatives, with expert speakers offering insights on social media strategies. The workshop aims to address local media’s challenges and provide a platform for interactive sessions on various topics.
