Media Houses Contribute ₹26 Lakh to CM Relief Fund

Shimla, Sept 5: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu was presented cheques amounting to ₹26 lakh towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund by two prominent media groups in Himachal Pradesh.

Vinay Vashisht, News Editor, Punjab Kesari (Himachal Pradesh), handed over a cheque of ₹11 lakh to the Chief Minister at Shimla on Thursday.

Similarly, Bhanu Dhamija, Chief Managing Director of Divya Himachal, presented a cheque of ₹15 lakh in the presence of Editor-in-Chief Anil Soni and Resident Editor Sanjay Awasthi.

The Chief Minister expressed gratitude for their generous contributions, stating that such support will strengthen the ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts in the state.
