MD Tourism Rajiv’s Official Tour Focuses on Enhancing Tourism in Himachal Pradesh

Shimla, May 13 : During his official tour over the weekend, MD Tourism Rajiv visited prominent tourist destinations in Manali, Lahaul Spiti, and Kullu with the aim of boosting tourism initiatives in the region. On Saturday, he inspected the transport workshop and LOG huts in Manali, followed by visits to key sites in Lahaul Spiti on Sunday, including Zispa, Keyland, and Sidhu. Additionally, he evaluated properties such as Hidimba cottages, Manalsu, and Kunnxum club house in Manali. On Monday, Rajiv continued his tour, inspecting the transport workshop again and exploring potential tourism spots like Hotel Castle Naggar, Cafe Monal Sarvari, Silvermoon, and Pirdi for the possibility of an ice skating rink. Furthermore, discussions with DC Kullu and DTDO Kullu centered on various tourism projects and initiatives aimed at boosting tourism in Himachal Pradesh. Rajiv’s efforts aim to address issues such as low occupancy and staff shortages by initiating collaborations with other government departments and implementing new strategies to increase tourism footfall in the region.
