Massive Corruption Alleged in Himachal Pradesh Green Energy Project

Shimla: BJP leader and former minister Vikram Thakur has exposed a significant scam in the Himachal Pradesh Green Energy Project. He revealed that the 32 MW solar plant inaugurated by CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in Una district cost ₹220 crores, while a similar 35 MW plant in Gujarat cost only ₹144 crores. He accused the government of financial mismanagement and corruption in site selection and project execution. The project, running at only 50% capacity due to heavy rains, has become one of the most expensive solar projects in the country.
