Marked jubilation over SS Sukhoo named as HP CM

Shimla, Dec 10 – There was marked jubilation in all parts of Hamirpur district after the Congress party high command named Sukhvinder Singh Sukhoo, the newly elected MLA from Nadaun assembly segment of Hamirpur as the leader of Ho congress legislature party.
Sukhoo will be second after Pk Dhumal to take over as the chiefminister of this hilly state.
Once the name of Sukhoo was announced, people burst crackers, distributed sweets and danced in joy. The main function was held at Village Bhabra, the native village of Sukhoo. Family members and other villagers were i a joyous mood and we’re dancing to the tunes of dholes and nagaras. Women were also singing local songs claiming that it was the victory of the masses.
At Gandhi chowk, Hamirpur, congress workers burst crackers and distributed sweets among them.
On another hand, bjp camp was asked face and it’s leaders and workers were keeping mum as they have lost everything in this election.
Notably, bjp could not win even a single seat from Hamirpur which was the citadel of the party since 1977.
Sunil Sharma, bittu a close confidant if the new chief minister said that it was the victory of masses. He said that Hamirpur would become modern district of India and there will be no shortage of funds for its development.
Sharma thanked the state people especially of Hamirpur district for posing faith in Congress party.
