Man Dies in Fire at Manali Homestay

Manali, 25 January 2025: A tragic fire engulfed a homestay in Manali, claiming the life of a man named Ishwar Chand, who was sleeping inside. Preliminary investigations suggest that a room heater may have caused the fire. The blaze destroyed one room entirely before being controlled by the fire department. Tehsildar Anil Rana confirmed that the deceased lived alone in the homestay. Police have taken custody of the body and will conduct a post-mortem. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
