Man arrested under NDPS Act in Kangra: SSP

Dharamshala, Oct 3 – One Pathankot resident was arrested under Narcotics Drug and Psychotropic Substances ( NDPS) Act at Mallan Chowk falling under Nagrota Bagwan police station in Kangra district after charas was seized from him, Police said here on Monday.

Kangra District Senior Superintendent of Police Khushal Sharma told UNI today that under Police Station Nagrota Bagwan, police recovered 111.58 grams of Charas from the possession of an accused person at Mallan Chowk falling under Nagrota Bagwan police station in Kangra district on Sunday late evening.
SSP said the accused person was identified as Yashpal ,resident of Bavay da Mohalla Pathankot.

A case has been registered against the accused person under section 20-61-85 of NDPS Act at Nagrota Bagwan police station.
SSP said police have arrested the said accused person and the investigation is in progress.
