Major Landslide Hits Shimla’s Krishna Nagar and Vishnu Temple Area: Several Buildings Damaged

Shimla, August 14: A significant landslide has occurred in the Krishna Nagar and Vishnu Temple areas of Shimla. Reports suggest that around six buildings have collapsed, and the danger to two to three more houses has emerged. The municipal slaughterhouse, the only one in the area, has also been buried under debris due to the landslide.

According to Councilor Bittu Kumar, two people are reportedly trapped under the debris. Rescue operations have been initiated at the scene. It is being reported that cracks had already appeared earlier, prompting people to evacuate and move their belongings.
