Main Pipeline Break Disrupts Water Supply in Haripur Khairian Scheme

Dehra, July 23 : Drinking water supply under the Haripur Khairian scheme has been disrupted due to a major pipeline break in Sapdu village, falling under the Jal Shakti Department Sub-Division Haripur. Assistant Engineer Manish Kumar informed that the pipeline was damaged due to soil erosion in Gram Panchayat Khairian.
The repair and rerouting of the pipeline may take 2 to 3 days. As a result, water supply will remain affected in Gram Panchayats Khairian and Baungta during this period. SDO Manish Kumar has appealed to residents to use water judiciously.
