LR Institute Celebrates World Population Day with Educational Event

Solan, July 11, 2024 — LR Institute of Legal Studies hosted a series of activities and a significant guest lecture to mark World Population Day, emphasizing the importance of population issues and inspiring students and faculty through engaging discussions.
The highlight was the guest lecture by Akanksha Dogra, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate and Secretary of District Legal Services Authority, Solan. Known for her commitment to social justice, Ms. Dogra discussed various population-related challenges and legal provisions to address them. Her insights proved invaluable for the aspiring legal professionals present.
The event began with a poster-making competition, showcasing students’ creativity and awareness of population issues. Other activities included speeches by faculty on demographic trends and sustainable development, a play depicting the impacts of population explosion, and a quiz session.
Prof. Dr. R.P. Nainta, Principal Director of LR Group of Institutes, praised all participants, highlighting the importance of education and awareness in addressing population challenges.
