LR Group of Institutes Celebrates Holi with Festive Spirit

Solan, March 4:The festival of colours was celebrated with enthusiasm and traditional vibrancy at LR Group of Institutes, where students and faculty members came together to mark Holi with music, colours, and cultural performances.
The campus was filled with festive cheer as students participated in solo and group dance performances and singing presentations, creating a lively atmosphere. The event reflected the energy, creativity, and cultural spirit of the students.
The celebration was graced by Managing Director **Shachi Singh**, along with Dr. Suresh Chauhan (Principal, HMCT), Dr. Kanchan Bala Jaswal (Principal, Polytechnic), Dr. Avneet Gupta (Principal, Pharmacy), Dr. Shweta Sandhu (Head, Management Department), Nishant Thakur (Head, B.Tech Department), Surat Singh (Head of Administration), and Hussain Zaidi (Deputy Director, Marketing & PR), besides faculty members and students.
A special highlight of the event was the food stalls set up by students of the HMCT department, who showcased their culinary and hospitality skills through a variety of dishes.
The entire programme was organized and managed by the student body “Performing Art & Event Management Society,” which handled event planning, stage management, and coordination of cultural activities. The effort demonstrated strong teamwork and leadership among the students.
Speakers on the occasion emphasized that such cultural events play an important role in the holistic development of students by encouraging creativity and participation beyond academics. The programme concluded with exchange of greetings and celebrations promoting unity, harmony, and the spirit of Holi.
