Lodge Complaints of Model Code of Conduct Violations Through C-Vigil App

Una, April 6 – During elections, complaints of violations of the Model Code of Conduct can now be registered through the C-Vigil app. District Election Officer Jatin Lal explained that everyone can easily download the app from the Play Store on their Android phones. Through this, complaints regarding breaches of the Model Code of Conduct and financial transactions can be sent with evidence promptly.
In the C-Vigil app, complaints filed with video and photo evidence are resolved within a maximum of 100 minutes. This swift action mechanism ensures accountability and transparency during the electoral process.
Apply for Permission for Election Programs Through Suvidha App
The District Election Officer informed that the Election Commission of India has developed the ‘Suvidha App’ for obtaining various permissions related to election programs. Through this app, permissions for various election-related activities such as rallies, street corner meetings, and the use of loudspeakers in election campaigns can be obtained.
The Suvidha App facilitates obtaining permissions for star campaigners and party officials for vehicle usage, helicopter and helipad usage, opening temporary party offices, vehicle permits, permission to use loudspeakers in vehicles, and vehicle permits in the entire assembly constituency area for candidates and election agents, among other permissions related to election programs.
