Local Art, Culture, and Women Empowerment Celebrated at Arki Event

Arki, May 8 – A vibrant event aimed at promoting women empowerment and local talent was recently held in Arki, where several dignitaries and community members gathered in support of progressive social initiatives. Speaking on the occasion, senior journalist Dr. Rachna Gupta emphasized that respect for women is the foundation of a strong society. She shared her longstanding commitment to writing and journalism focused on women’s upliftment and expressed confidence that collective efforts would lead to significant societal transformation.

MLA Sanjay Awasthi and Dr. Gupta also visited exhibitions featuring products from various self-help groups, showing keen interest in the local crafts and enterprises on display. Cultural artists associated with the Department of Information and Public Relations added charm to the event with vibrant performances.

In the painting competition, Soumya Sharma of GSSS Arki stood first, followed by Shubham and Farhan.
In the slogan writing contest, Tanvi from Shaheed Capt. Vijayant Thapar GSSS Arki secured first place, followed by Palak and Mannat.
The culinary competition saw Anganwadi Kunihar take the top position, followed by Jai Bharti Sansthan Hatkot and Shri Radhe Krishna SHG.
In singing, Madhu Thakur claimed the first prize, while Anganwadi Vritt 1 and Hatkot secured second and third.
For the dance competition, Nisha Devi won first place, followed by Chetna Devi and Anganwadi Arki Vritt 2.
