Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur Slams Govt Over Governance Failures

Shimla, February 14 – Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur criticized the state government, stating that mismanagement is rampant, and public welfare has taken a backseat. He highlighted severe issues in hospitals, delays in payments, and a lack of development projects. Thakur also slammed the government for increasing water charges while failing to ensure proper supply, citing protests in Theog as an example of the worsening situation.

In another development, Jairam Thakur met BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda in New Delhi, congratulating him on the party’s landslide victory in the Delhi Assembly elections. They also discussed various developmental concerns related to Himachal Pradesh.
