Shimla, March 1, 2025: Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition, Jairam Thakur, criticized the Sukhu government, alleging that crores are being spent on advisors, friends, and Chief Parliamentary Secretaries (CPS) while common people are left to fend for themselves. He accused the government of prioritizing personal allies over the welfare of citizens.
Thakur slammed the administration for diverting central government funds and imposing financial burdens on the state. He also reiterated allegations regarding temple funds being sought for government schemes, questioning why the Chief Minister is denying the claims despite official records and statements from Congress leaders confirming them.
Further, he criticized the government’s policies, citing increased fuel prices, halted subsidies, expensive ration, and job losses as key failures of the Sukhu administration. He demanded accountability from the Chief Minister for misleading the public.
