Landslide Disrupts Traffic on Chakkar-Bilaspur Road

Shimla: Heavy rains have caused significant landslides on the Chakkar-Bilaspur road, leading to a complete halt in vehicular movement in both directions. Efforts are underway to clear the debris, with JCB machines actively working at the site. The Shimla Traffic Police urges the public to cooperate and use the Tawi-Mod to Balu Ganj road as an alternative route. The National Highway is expected to reopen for traffic shortly. Additionally, the Taradevi-Totu road is now open for all types of vehicles.
