L.R. B.Ed. NSS Unit Delivers Powerful ‘Say No to Drugs’ Street Play on Independence Day

Solan, August 15: The NSS unit of L.R. B.Ed. Institute actively participated in the district-level Independence Day celebrations held at Dhodo Ground, Solan, by presenting an impactful street play on the themes Har Ghar Tiranga and Say No to Drugs.
The performance began with great energy and enthusiasm, as the united voices of the B.Ed. students echoed a call for a drug-free nation. Through powerful acting and realistic portrayal, the play highlighted the harmful effects of drug abuse, captivating the audience and leaving a lasting impression.
This strong presentation sparked meaningful dialogue within the community, urging collective efforts towards building a drug-free and healthy society.
The institute’s Principal, Dr. Nisha, praised the students’ efforts, stating that such initiatives reflect the true spirit of independence. She emphasized that combining patriotism with strong social messages enables students to become catalysts for positive change and community development.
The Chief Guest of the district-level celebrations, Col. Dr. Dhaniram Shandil, Hon’ble Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Social Justice & Empowerment, and Sainik Welfare, honoured the students of L.R. B.Ed. Institute with certificates and a trophy for their outstanding performance.
