Grand Cultural Parade on October 8

Kullu, August 4:
The renowned Kullu International Dussehra Festival will commence on October 2 and conclude on October 8. A grand International Cultural Parade will be held on the final day at Dhalpur Ground, featuring artists from various countries along with performers from different Indian states, showcasing their unique cultural heritage. Students from local educational institutions will also participate with vibrant tableaux displays.

Presiding over a meeting with heads of educational institutions, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ashwani Kumar shared these details. He emphasized that this year’s Kullu Carnival aims to be more inclusive, with active participation from students through creative tableaux presentations. The best entries will be awarded attractive prizes.

He urged all participants to design their tableaux around the theme “Cultural Heritage of Himachal Pradesh” and exhibit innovative creativity in their presentations. Suggestions from institution heads were also welcomed during the meeting to ensure the success of the event.
