Kullu Convent Senior Secondary School Holds Student Council Installation Ceremony

Kullu: On Saturday, June 29, Kullu Convent Senior Secondary School organized the Student Council Installation Ceremony. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the school manager, Mr. Suresh Kumar, and the director, Mrs. Reetu Chauhan. Alongside cultural presentations, responsibilities were assigned to students.

A new 46-member student council was formed during the event. In the junior wing, Divya was elected as Head Girl and Lavya Guleria as Head Boy. In the senior wing, Sarika Chauhan was named Head Girl and Gaurav Singh as Head Boy. Captains and vice-captains were chosen for the four houses: Aqua, Ventus, Terra, and Ignis, for both junior and senior wings.

In the junior wing, Aqua House Captain is Tanzil, Ventus House Captain is Kirti, Terra House Captain is Riddhi, and Ignis House Captain is Shivanshi. In the senior wing, Aqua House Captain is Divyanshi, Ventus House Captain is Shivalika, Ignis House Captain is Sneha, and Terra House Captain is Devanshi. The junior wing vice-captains are Manvik for Aqua House, Bhavyashree for Ventus House, Darpan for Terra House, and Vinay for Ignis House. The senior wing vice-captains are Shreya Verma for Aqua House, Norzin for Ventus House, Ojaswi Sharma for Terra House, and Ojaswi Verma for Ignis House.

Presidents and vice-presidents were also elected for various clubs including Eco, Literary, Cultural, Sports, Science, and Yoga. The elected members are Trishika, Amisha, Sanyogita, Mansi Jagudi, Aditya, Aryansh, Saksham Jamwal, Shivika Raina, Aditi, Kovind Tanzin Rangthol, Chandan, Ankit, Harshit, Arushi, Vijayalakshmi, Priya, Vansh, Arya, Ishita, Riddhi, Kashvi, Muskan, Damini, and Vibhor.

The school discipline committee and the school development committee were also formed. Mrs. Reetu Devi, the school director, administered the oath to all members, urging them to fulfill their duties with integrity and dedication. School manager Mr. Suresh Kumar encouraged the student council to perform their responsibilities diligently. The ceremony concluded with the national anthem.
