Kullu Convent School Students Shine in Cultural Competitions
1 min readKullu, August 3, 2024: Bhumi and Ridhima Chaudhary, students of Kullu Convent Senior Secondary School, secured second positions in different competitions organized by the Department of Language and Culture on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar at Dev Sadan, Kullu.
Bhumi, a 12th-grade student, achieved second place in the “Tankari Script Writing Competition,” while Ridhima, an 11th-grade student, earned second place in the “Essay Writing Competition.” Another student from the same school, Asha, received a consolation prize in the Tankari Script Writing competition.
Despite the monsoon holidays from July 23 to August 15 in most schools in Kullu, these students dedicated their time to learning and practicing the Tankari script, including its alphabet, numerals, and rules. Suresh Kumar, the school’s Managing Director, congratulated the students, their parents, and the language teacher, encouraging all students to participate in such events in the future.
