Know Real Applicability of Yoga for Righteousness of Human Life – IPS J.P. Singh

Shimla, June 24 – On behalf of APG Shimla University and Venkateshwara Open University, under webinar series a- one- day webinar conducted on the topic- Yoga and Personality Development here on Thursday. IPS officer J.P. Singh inspector general of police, armed police and training, Shimla, and Prof. R.K. Choudhary, the Vice-Chancellor of Venkateshwara Open University attended the webinar as chief guest and key speakers. Both the speakers addressed a large number of strengths of APG Shimla varsity students, teachers, and participants from the many States of India in the webinar.

In their address, they told the participants about plethora of concepts of Yoga and Yoga-asana for the benefits of health and human personality development. IPS J.P. Singh throwing lights on various terms and aspects of Yoga in very simple words that Yoga is not only confined to Pranayama and Yoga-asana as it is generally done by people but it is above it and a resounding source of complete human development, human personality, social and nation development.

“Yoga controls the human-senses, organs, wisdom and mind to lead him to take right decisions of wrong and right by his holy virtue of Karma and repels the negative thoughts and brings a new change of positive thoughts inside of man and by virtue of Yoga he attains the customs of great Karma as well as greats notions in his life then the importance of Yoga is helpful”, said IPS J.P. Singh while addressing the students. J.P. Singh said that man must adopt his self-wisdom and knowledge with his inner psyche so that he could comply with the truth, human development, personality development, spiritual development, social development and nation development to lead him to play his best role in these fields. I.P.S. J.P. Singh described the various aspects of Yoga mentioned in various mythologies, epics, Vedas that whenever we moot on Yoga, we take Yoga as Yoga-asana, Pranayama and another farrago on Yoga only, while on the other side it imparts health benefits usually but it gets to attain the self-power, self-purification, self-peace and self-knowledge as well.

Yoga invokes for adopting ritual notions and a common man can become a scholar by virtue of Yoga, said I.P.S. J.P. Singh. Singh said that Yoga has the capacity to take from passion of element/Rajoguna to virtuousness/ satoguna, which is interpreted also by Lord Sri Krishna in Bhagbadageeta and also described in other epics and Vedas as well. Singh said that Yoga must apply in one’s daily retune and part of life as Yoga has both a solution and a panacea of life but Yoga should not be engaged in wrong Karma and wrong directions. J.P. Singh told the students that the epic characters like Ravana and Kansa also attained the powers of Yoga and other miracle knowledge for their end meet but such pieces of knowledge were not for the sake of human development, social development, and nation development but they were used for their physical development and passion of element/ Tamoguna development. Singh introduced the students to the deep-rooted character-building thoughts and personality development thoughts as their foremost action or Karma and said that develop the positive thoughts and add it with the thoughts of the psyche of truth and then make great efforts and proceed ahead to achieve your great goals.

The students or other people must follow Yoga in their daily life and be great human personalities for the benefits of their human community, society and nation as well, said IPS J.P. Singh. The last session of the webinar was a question-answer session as many students, teachers and other participants asked questions on Yoga and J.P. Singh cleared their doubts on Yoga during the webinar. Prof. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan, the Vice-Chancellor of APG Shimla University concluded the webinar by addressing his vote of thanks, in his address, Prof. Chauhan said that Yoga brings positive thoughts and for the students as it is a panacea to repel their stress and by virtue of it students can achieve their goals cogently.

In the same tune, Prof. R.K. Choudhary, the Vice-Chancellor of Venkateshwara Open University addressed the students that in a true sense, IPS J.P. Singh interpreted the real gist of the Yoga in simple and understandable manners before the audiences, students and people to get benefited from Yoga and received a knowledge source to lead their life with their personality development, social development and nation development by the virtue of great Karma and Yoga cushion and bolster them.
