Key Administrative Changes in Himachal Pradesh Government

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh has approved the transfer of Er. Virender Singh Thakur from the position of Chief Engineer (Project Management Unit), H.P. Rural Water Supply Project, Jai Shakti Vibhag, Mandi, District Mandi, HP. Er. Virender Singh Thakur will now be posted as the Managing Director-cum-CEO at Shimla Jal Prabandhan Nigam Ltd. (SJPNL), Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. This appointment is on a secondment basis, initially for one year.

Simultaneously, Dr. Pankaj Lalit, an officer of the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS), who was serving as the Managing Director-cum-CEO of SJPNL, Shimla, Director of Language, Art & Culture, Himachal Pradesh, and Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Academy of Art, Culture & Languages, Shimla, will now take on the role of Director, Language, Art & Culture, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla. Additionally, he will serve as the Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages, Shimla. This decision has been made in the public interest.
