In midst of the depleting current ecological scenario Bahra university waknaghat and Basal eco club has organised a cleanliness drive on the track towards Karol Mountain situated at solan..
Karol peak is situated at the altitude of 2240 meters and is the highest peak in solan region with breath taking view and also has a mythological belief as the cave over there has been house for pandvas while their journey towards Himalyas.
Karol mountain has always been a star of the eye for locals and tourist in summer season as it gives a refreshing feeling reaching there.
But with this comes the ill effects as people visiting spread the garbage and here and there polluting the pious enviorment..
Acknowledging this Bahra university waknaghat and Basal eco club organised the cleanliness drive and collected 1 ton of garbage and diposed the same..
The drive was supported by 70 people.
PRO Bahra university added that Keep Himachal clean and green is the initiative by Bahra university to spread the awareness amongst the society to protect the land of God’s and ditties.
This initiative was inaugurated by Honble Minister of health & family welfare Dr Rajiv saizal last year.
Bahra university has collaborated with at least 50 eco clubs of the Schools and colleges to train the student’s and make them aware of the enviorment related issues so that the coming generation takes it as moral responsibility yo protect the same.
Director admission and Marketing Bahra University was present along with the students,staff and Members of the Basal eco club Mr Mohit,Hitesh & Vivek.
