BJP Himachal Pradesh Media In-Charge Karan Nanda criticized Congress leaders for allegedly taking credit for development projects initiated by the BJP. Responding to Congress leader Ramlal Thakur’s remarks against BJP National President JP Nadda, Nanda said that major infrastructure projects in Himachal Pradesh, including AIIMS, PGI Satellite Center, Hydro Engineering College, and Cancer Hospital, were made possible due to Nadda’s vision.
Nanda highlighted that the Bulk Drug Park in Una received an extension until March 2026 due to Nadda’s efforts. He also noted that PM Narendra Modi inaugurated AIIMS Bilaspur, built at ₹1,471 crore, and fulfilled Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s dream by completing the ₹3,200 crore Atal Tunnel project. He accused Congress of shutting down beneficial schemes introduced during the Jairam Thakur-led BJP government.
Nanda questioned why Congress is allegedly halting people-centric initiatives and claimed that BJP’s governance continues to deliver significant progress in Himachal Pradesh.
