Kangana Ranaut Expresses Discontent with Himachal Pradesh Government over Disaster Relief Fund Donation

Kangana Ranaut took to Facebook and Instagram to openly express her discontent with the Himachal Pradesh government. She stated that she had tried to make a contribution to the Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund-2023, which was created for disaster relief efforts in the state, but she was unable to do so successfully due to issues with the fund’s online portal.
According to Kangana Ranaut’s posts, she attempted to donate INR 10 lakh but was only able to donate half of that amount after struggling with the non-functional online portal. She described the situation as shameful.
Kangana Ranaut also shared a screenshot of her WhatsApp conversation with her CA, Manoj, discussing her intention to donate INR 10 lakh to the relief fund. Her posts have garnered various comments on social media platforms.
It is worth noting that artists and celebrities with connections to Himachal Pradesh had faced criticism for not contributing to the state’s disaster relief efforts during a recent disaster. This issue had gained attention, especially in light of actor Aamir Khan’s INR 25 lakh donation to the fund.
Kangana Ranaut has now made an effort to contribute to the relief fund and has raised questions about the government’s handling of the donation process. People across the state are eagerly awaiting the government’s response to this matter.
