JUIT’s ‘Vocal for Local 2.0’ Illuminates Diwali with Local Artistry

SOLAN, Nov 5: From November 1 to November 3, 2023, JUIT Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) hosted “Vocal for Local 2.0,” a heartwarming pre-Diwali celebration. This three-day event shone a spotlight on local craftsmanship, with the Mahila Pradhan and her team presenting handmade candles, dhoopbatti, and beautifully crafted diyas. The event’s main aim was to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of local artisans.
The featured products, including intricately designed diyas, aromatic dhoopbatti, and fragrant candles, garnered an enthusiastic response from the JUIT community and visitors. “Vocal for Local 2.0” emphasized the significance of local initiatives, showcasing the potential for self-sufficiency within communities.
