Solan, Feb 11, 2026: Reinforcing its commitment to international academic collaboration and research-driven learning, Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, has marked another milestone as its students secured opportunities at prestigious universities in the United States through accelerated master’s and student exchange initiatives.

Under the newly introduced Accelerated Master’s Program with the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (SD Mines), USA, JUIT B.Tech. students can now transition seamlessly from their undergraduate studies into a fast-track master’s degree. The initiative allows meritorious students to begin research during the eighth semester, undertake advanced coursework, and benefit from potential tuition fee coverage. As part of this collaboration, Pragati Pandey from Delhi and Nidhi Kapatia from Amritsar, both Biotechnology students from the Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, have joined the laboratory of Prof. Rajesh Sani, Distinguished Professor and Director (MASON) at SD Mines, gaining valuable international research exposure.

In another significant achievement, Satvik from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, a final-year B.Tech. Computer Science Engineering student, has joined the University of Florida under the Student Exchange Program. The accomplishment reflects JUIT’s growing global academic engagement and emphasis on experiential learning.

The initiative has been made possible through the visionary leadership of CEO Mr. Manu Bhaskar Gaur and Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajendra Kumar Sharma, whose focus on internationalization continues to open new academic pathways for students. Congratulating the achievers, Prof. Sudhir Syal, Dean (Research & Internationalization), highlighted that such collaborations not only enhance academic excellence but also prepare students for global research and innovation ecosystems.

With these developments, JUIT continues to position itself as a hub of global learning, fostering international exposure, interdisciplinary research, and academic excellence among its students.
