JUIT Scholars Secure Prestigious Research Positions in the UK and USA

Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, celebrates the remarkable achievements of two of its Ph.D. graduates, Dr. Anil Sharma and Dr. Monika Choudhary, who have secured prestigious postdoctoral research positions in leading universities across the globe.
Dr. Anil Sharma, a native of Hamirpur, who completed his Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics at JUIT, has joined the University of Nottingham, UK, as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. His research, funded by the EPSRC, will focus on bioleaching critical and strategic metals from urban waste streams.
Dr. Monika Choudhary, from Kangra, also completed her Ph.D. in the same department at JUIT, where she worked on a SERB-funded project. She has now joined the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, as a Postdoctoral Fellow, contributing to the cutting-edge medical and healthcare research conducted at the institution.
Both scholars expressed their gratitude to JUIT and shared their future research plans with the Head of the Department, Prof. Sudhir Syal. The Vice Chancellor of JUIT, Prof. Rajendra Kumar Sharma, extended his congratulations and wished them continued success in their careers. The university’s authorities and faculty also congratulated the scholars on their accomplishments.
